kowhaiwhai Is a Maori Represtitive Pattern to show the amazing Arts of Maori Patterns they draw to use to symbolise there culture.The patterns painted on the ridgepole represent the tribal genealogy. The main line of descent begins with the founding ancestor. On the rafters, patterns represent the diverging branches of the family.

Koru
The koru is a spiral shape based on the shape fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. It is an integral symbol in Māori art, carving and tattoos.

1. put your bag away.
2. Wipe your table down. 

3. Put your Apron on. 

4. Take your Jackets off.

5. Take Jewelry,watches etc off.

6. tie hair up.

DURING ROUTINES 

1. Get the equipment out needed for your practical. 

2. Choose your ingredients for what you are baking.

3. Keep the required food away from other food so we don't contaminate food.

4. We keep our stools under our desks.

 AFTER ROUTINES
