bake potato

BAKED POTATO

 Serves: 4       10 minutes prep time      35-40mins cook time

Ingredients

• 4 large clean potatoes
• ¼ cup oil
• 2 T salt
• 1-2 slices of ham, chopped
• 1/2 cup mixed veggies
• 1/2 cup grated cheese
• Sour Cream to serve
• 1 spring onion chopped (Garnish)

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°C with oven tray inside. Defrost Frozen vegetable in a bowl of hot water (if frozen).

2. Place potatoes in the microwave-safe dish, add a small amount of water. Microwave potatoes for 3-5 minutes at a time (depending on wattage) until you can easily penetrate with skewer or knife.

3. Once potatoes are done place them carefully onto the heated oven tray, cover with oil and salt. Turn with tongs to make sure they are covered.

4. Bake at 180°C for about 20min or until tender.

5. Cut the lid off the potatoes, scoop out the cooked potato into a bowl leaving the skins intact. Mash the potato.

6. Fry ham in a little oil until crisp and golden

7. Mix the mashed potato with the ham, ½ the cheese, mixed vege and any additional ingredients. Refill the potatoes and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Place on a baking tray

8. Cook at 200°C for 5-10 minutes in a hot oven until hot and golden.

9. Top with sour cream and spring onion to serve

one day I was walk and then I started to  salivate so I run home for food but went I got home my mum said do this but I defy what she said.  My sister were intimidating me so I said stop it but they did not. I was going to go to  the pool but it was condensation. I went to my friend house to play netball and I won you got say it was immense.

Spiced Apple Muffins
Ingredients

Serves: 12

2 cups flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup chopped peeled apple
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
1 Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
2 Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
3 Mix in apple, cover completely.
4 Add egg, milk, and butter.
5 Pour 3/4 full into greased muffin tins.
6 Mix topping together and sprinkle over unbaked muffins.
7 Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
8 Eat them.

Are school uniforms beneficial

No, I think we should wear what we want my school uniform is boring so people wear it worry so if we get to wear what we want to people to not get mad I get mad sometimes because it is hurt to wound the bods in the top  Wearing uniform is an awful thing for most students. I think that students shouldn't have to wear uniforms in school because it doesn't allow individuality. Also because uniforms are very expensive. Finally because wearing uniform stakes away your freedom.

Anzac Biscuits.

ANZAC BISCUITS

Ingredients

½ cup rolled oats

½ cup flour

½ cup sugar

½ cup coconut

½ teaspoon baking soda

1T golden syrup

50g butter

Method

1. Put all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix
2. Melt butter and Golden Syrup in a bowl in the microwave for 20 seconds
3. Combine ingredients until the mixture is able to be rolled together. If too dry add a teaspoon of water to help.
4. Roll into small teaspoon size balls and flatten with a fork.
5. Bake on 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until brown.
6. Leave on tray until cool.

Chloe Harvey and I were reseaching about bugs in science.
